J.H.A Winter & Sons Ltd has significant experience in the education building sector. Over the past 30+ years we have worked within schools and academies across Lincolnshire delivering projects from brand new, state of the art classroom blocks and extensions to toilet refurbishments, classroom remodelling, playground resurfacing, roof repairs and so on.

Our team, from management to tradespeople and subcontractors are all fully equipped to undertake all types of works within this sector.

Over the years we have delivered many exciting projects, working collaboratively with architects and structural engineers, helping bring people's visions and dreams into reality.

Whether it be an extensive refurbishment, a barn conversion or a new build, we are confident in delivering a finished product with unrivalled quality, on time and within budget. 

In 2017, we were proud to receive a RIBA Small Project of the Year award for East Midlands with a unique beach chalet at. Sandilands, Lincolnshire. Later in 2021, we received another RIBA regional award for a refurbishment of another beach holiday let in Anderby Creek, Lincolnshire.

Our team are highly experienced in delivering construction works related to insurance claims due to incidents such as fire and flooding. We have developed excellent relationships with a number of companies that oversee insurance claim related construction works locally and are proud to be able to help people get their homes and lives back up and running following these unfortunate events.

J.H.A Winter & Sons Ltd have more recently been extremely busy working within heritage sensitive environments. Our people, and carefully selected supply chain, carry vast amounts of experience working within said environments and possess the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to delivery excellent projects for many of our clients.

Historically, our company also carried out a lot of maintenance works on many of the county’s windmills.
